Traffic Engineer
Description
MacKenzie Engineering & Planning, Inc. (MEP) is seeking a full time Traffic Engineer position with an emphasize on Traffic and Transportation engineering for our South Florida office. Entry level engineers will have the opportunity to learn fundamental traffic engineering practices to help prepare them for their professional engineering license and post graduate life. The Traffic Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as traffic analysis, transportation planning, traffic studies, road safety, and traffic operations.

Qualifications

Expertise in Microsoft Office

Ability to coordinate with stakeholders efficiently

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Analytical, decisive, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Excellent documentation and organizational skills

Experience with traffic modeling software

Experience with Highway Capacity Software (HCS) and Synchro

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field

FE/EIT certification or ability to obtain within one year
